Animal overpopulation has reached a crisis.Everyday 70,000 puppies and kittens are born in this country while only 10,000 people are born.Sadly, there are just not enough homes for these animals. That is why FOUR FOOTED FRIENDS and the INDIANA COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY have teamed together to create the Income-Based Spay/Neuter Voucher Program.
This program assists residents of Indiana County to alter their dog or cat by issuing the qualified owner a voucher that offsets the cost of the surgery. The voucher is then taken to an area participating veterinarian with the value subtracted from thefees charged.
An application and list of participating veterinarians can be picked up at either the Indiana County Humane Society or Four Footed Friends.
