Donation Information
Four Footed Friends does not receive government funding. Because of this, we rely on donations from our supporters to help care for our animals. We are a 501(c)(3) status organization and your contributions are tax deductible!
Featured Fundraisers:
- Buy A Brick Campaign — Four Footed Friends is asking its supporters to purchase custom-engraved bricks, which will be used to form pathways and sidewalks through the landscaping at the group’s new animal shelter. Bricks are $100 and can be engraved with up to 3 lines of text, 17 characters and spaces per line. The bricks can be used for memorials for a loved one; to commemorate weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, or other special events; or to promote a company or group. FFF will provide a free, customized Certificate of Thanks for each brick ordered. To request a .pdf order form, email fff@pghmail.com, or call the shelter at 724.349-1144 and a form can be mailed to you.
- Cans For Canines - Do something to help the environment - and homeless animals! Take your 100% aluminum cans to RSM Co. (Roumm's, behind the IUP tennis courts) on S. 13th Street in Indiana for recycling. Ask them to "Donate Your Dollars" to Four Footed Friends.
- 1160 WCCS Lost & Found Pet Report — Four Footed Friends is currently sponsoring the daily Lost and Found Pet Report on radio 1160 AM. This report airs twice daily, seven days a week, and provides a valuable community service about lost and found animals. FFF is seeking "Pet Report Partners," local individuals or businesses who would be willing to sponsor or co-sponsor this ad with us. Please call 724-349-1144 to discuss how your advertising dollars can be put to work to not only boost your business, but also to help lost and homeless animals in our community!
Items you can donate include:
 | - Cat litter of any type
- Dog and cat food- both dry and canned (sorry but we cannot accept already opened bags for safety purposes)
- Dog leashes and collars, any size (please be sure these are not the kind that break easily, for safety purposes)
- Bleach and other cleaning supplies like Windex, laundry detergent, dish soap
- Printer cartridges (call shelter for information) and copy paper
- Pet treats (no rawhides or artificial food coloring, please)
- No-Tip heavy dog bowls or stainless buckets we can clip to kennel doors for water (to avoid spilling)
- Toys (especially Kongs!) for dogs and cats
- Pet carriers and crates
- Disinfectable beds (like Kennel Decks or Kuranda beds)
- Gift cards (for Walmart, Staples, Sam's Club, pet stores, etc)
- Volunteer your time, either at our shelter or events (or at home!)
- Financial help
- Flashlights- for walking dogs at night, emergencies, etc
- Batteries, any kind, especially C's and D's for flashlights
- Umbrellas for our volunteers- rain or shine, the dogs need walked!
